There’s few things are Melburnians love more than brunch – it’s the perfect excuse to catch up with our friends over some delicious food, and sometimes even a cheeky mimosa.
But being the foodie capital that we are, the standards for the perfect brunch high – yet one place that has been ticking all the boxes is Albert Park’s go to hot spot Lenny 3206.
Boasting with all the relaxed, inviting vibes you would expect from a Bayside restaurant – the cafe offers a menu to satisfy everyone.
From delectable Cookies N’ Cream Ricotta Hotcakes to Cured Salmon Omelette and even a delicious Poke bowl for those slightly more ‘clean eats’ days.
I sat down with the team to find out a little more about this gorgeous Bayside hot spot …
Congratulations on the success of Lenny – was this always the vision?
We knew we wanted to open something near the beach as we loved the vibe of the area. It is the total opposite to the hustle & bustle of Moby.
Lenny is inspired by the location, a light filled serene space which creates a sense of calm.
The space comes alive through a textural palette & creative design work. Golden (interior design) & Can I Play (branding) were able to develop a concept which truly reflected our vision.
What is the must have item from the menu that everyone needs to try?
Absolutely the duck & waffle
Weekends are the perfect time for an afternoon cocktail – what are some of the new drinks guest can now enjoy?
We have an array of wines, a delicious prosecco from Treviso & a must have aperol.
5. What does the future hold?
Who knows what the future will hold.
We could not have imagined that we would be here 5 years ago, so we are excited to see what the next 5 has in store for us. I can see more cafés, maybe a restaurant. One thing id for sure, that we will continue to create beautiful spaces with a focus on fresh produce and of course with a great team.
